WiseTech Global signs distribution agreement with 3Gtms

Global logistics solutions group WiseTech Global has signed an international distribution agreement with 3Gtms, a multi-modal domestic transportation management system provider.
3Gtms’ transportation management system, 3G-TM, is a solution for mid to large third party logistics providers, shippers, brokers, forwarders and other non-asset based transportation companies that manages and optimizes the full transportation lifecycle.
3G-TM includes transportation planning, optimization, execution and settlement.
The agreement gives WiseTech global distribution rights.
WiseTech Global founder and chief executive, Richard White, said: “Domestic multi-modal shipping is a key part of the supply chain. 3Gtms provides a market leading logistics solution that has important synergies with our existing road transport capabilities and with our recent acquisitions.
“Integrating and distributing its solutions will empower our customers and help them more effectively manage both their domestic shipments and the first and last mile leg of their international shipments.”
Mitch Weseley, chief executive of 3Gtms, said: “There is a terrific synergy between the 3Gtms offering and WiseTech’s global customers, many of which will be able to expand their in theatre transportation operations using 3G-TM.”
