E-AWB penetration remains flat

GLOBAL E-AWB penetration has remained flat over the last two months partly due to the Chinese New Year, which impacted Asian markets, where e-AWB penetration is high, says IATA. 
Emirates Airline remains in the top slot as the carrier that operates the most eAWB shipments, according to the association’s top-10 league table. Cathay Pacific is in second place followed by Korean Air. 
IATA’s e-target for 2014 is 22 per cent – e-AWB penetration was at 12.2 per cent in February (having risen by just 0.6 per cent).
