Ancra gains AEI cargo loading order for converted B737-800s

Ancra International will provide the cargo loading system for Aeronautical Engineers Inc’s (AEI) new 737-800 passenger to freighter (P2F) converted aircraft.
This new contract comes on top of similar deals with Boeing and Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI).
Ancra currently supplies the cargo loading systems for all of AEI’s 737-300, 737-400, MD80SF, and the new CRJ-200SF converted freighters.
“There is no greater testament of a company’s quality of products and customer service than for an existing customer to continuously select them as the supplier of key products on new programmes,” said Ed Dugic, director of sales and marketing for Ancra.
Robert Convey, senior vice president of sales and marketing for AEI, said: “Ancra has for years consistently delivered a high quality product, on time and for a competitive price. It is for these reasons that AEI has selected Ancra as the exclusive supplier of cargo loading systems for our B737-800SF programme.”
In its baseline configuration, the AEI B737-800SF converted freighter will accommodate eleven  AAA full height containers or pallets and one AEP/AEH container for a total of 12 positions.
Depending upon the aircraft model and aircraft weight limits, the AEI converted aircraft will be able to carry a payload of up to 23.6 tonnes.
Additionally the AEI freighter will incorporate an 86” x 140” main cargo door and will include up to five supernumerary seats. Deliveries of AEI’s 737-800SF are anticipated to commence in late 2017.
