Fish to fly further

FishPac has unveiled an enhancement to its oxygen-sustained live seafood airfreight containers, reports the Intrafish.com newsletter.
The Melbourne, Australia-based company has replaced traditional ceramic oxygen diffusers with a stainless steel version, which avoids the problem of breakage.
According to the company, the new system reduces cost to shippers  and at the same time, the diffuser design has been improved to reduce the oxygen flow required. Other changes to the design improve oxygen control and allow the system to operate for longer.
