Elite Global Logistics Network holds first conference

Elite Global Logistics Network (EGLN) has held its first annual conference, in Bangkok.
Around 150 delegates from 90 companies attended, and more than 4,500 one-on-one meetings took place to discuss past, potential and future business opportunities.
EGLN, formed in May 2015, has established industry members drawn from organisations that specialise in global logistics – including freight forwarders, transportation intermediaries and associated companies.
The conference was conducted by Roy Stapleton, president and founder of EGLN, and Des Vertannes, EGLN members’ ambassador and former head of cargo at IATA.
EGLN expects to exceed 200 members by the end of the first quarter, 2016.
