EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics Summit and Expo join the Multimodal family

Clarion Events, which owns the UK-based Multimodal conference and exhibition, has boosted its supply chain and logistics portfolio with the acquisition of three global supply chain conferences and exhibitions from Industry Dynamics.
The shows include the EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics Summit and Expo, the Smart Chain Annual Supply Chain Management and Innovations Summit in the USA, and the Brazilian Supply Chain and Logistics Summit.
“We are growing our supply chain portfolio with a strong stable of well-established global shows,” said Robert Jervis, portfolio director of Clarion Events.
“We are focused on delivering valuable events to enable our delegates, visitors, sponsors and exhibitors to network, learn, and grow their business. By acquiring these three summits, and the highly-skilled team that produce them, we are confident of delivering exactly that on the global stage.”
The EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics Summit and Expo, now in its 19th year, brings together senior supply chain decision makers for three days of networking opportunities and discussion on industry trends.
This year’s June event, in Barcelona, was attended by hundreds of supply chain leaders and logistics buyers from blue-chip companies including Unilever, Primark, Nissan, and the Walt Disney Co.
Over 86 industry experts from companies including Mattel, BMW, and Pfizer shared insight and debated key trends.
Next year’s summit will take place in Barcelona from June 19th-22.
Multimodal, launched a decade ago, was this year supported by 325 exhibitors and attended by over 9,000 visitors.
Over 73 industry experts took part in the show’s three-day educational programme, which saw standing room-only in many of the 21 sessions.
