John Park to join Australia’s FTA

Australia’s Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has announced that John Park will join the FTA as its head of business operations on June 18.

The FTA describes itself as Australia’s “leading representative body for the international supply chain sector, bringing together importers, exporters, customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics service providers and industry groups”.

Park is a licensed customs broker experienced in international trade across import, export, express courier, freight forwarding and industry association roles, the FTA confirmed.

As well as well as providing support nationally on operational matters, he will manage the trade body’s growing number of members in Western Australia and will represent FTA and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) on operational and policy committees.
