Management appointments for Shipco Airfreight, Asia

Shipco Airfreight, a neutral wholesaler and consolidator, has strengthened its management team after opening a further two airfreight offices in Asia.
Dennis Bey has been appointed as general manager airfreight, north east Asia. Bey, who has been living in Shanghai for seven years, comes to Shipco Airfreight from Fiege, where he held a similar position.
Located in Hong Kong, Leslie Chung has started in the position of general manager airfreight, South China and Hong Kong. Chung has extensive experience in the wholesale airfreight industry in Hong Kong.
Alex Olsen has been appointed airfreight development manager. Located in Ho Chi Minh, Olsen will oversee Shipco’s airfreight development in Vietnam, where Shipco has offices in Ho Chi Minh, Haiphong, Danang and Hanoi.  Before joining the team in Vietnam, Olsen was airfreight manager for Shipco Airfreight in Canada.
“We have seen great development, not only to and from Asia but also intra-Asia”, said Shipco’s chief operating officer, global airfreight, Kim Ekstroem, adding: “With these strong individuals on our team, we have a great foundation for further airfreight growth.”
