Wide-ranging role for IAG’s Pravin Singh

IAG Cargo has appointed Pravin Singh as regional commercial manager for Asia Pacific and India.
Replacing John Cheetham, who moves to a strategic role, Singh’s 20-year airline career includes 12 years with IAG Cargo and British Airways World Cargo, most recently as area commercial manager, South Asia encompassing India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
He will manage a team across 23 countries and 50 stations including Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and South Asia and will focus on driving growth and expanding IAG Cargo’s footprint in existing and new markets.
Head of commercial at IAG Cargo, David Shepherd, commented: "Asia Pacific and India are commercially key for our business, covering a vast geographical area.  Pravin has delivered an outstanding performance as area commercial manager and has a clear understanding of how to best serve our customers in this region."
