GSSA Airbridge International Agencies (AIA) Cargo has added to its senior management team in Europe.

AIA has appointed Dovile Morris as its new vice president commercial & network and Karolina Hill as Germany country manager.

Based at AIA’s headquarters in Heathrow, Morris will be tasked with assisting AIA’S chief commercial officer, Jaime Salguero, in working on airline Request for Proposals to bring in new mandates to its existing offices and in addition will help identify and start new office locations.

Morris will also work with AIA’s existing airline clients to investigate ways to enable them to expand their coverage and revenue output.

“We are excited to have Dovile on board and we believe her strong and pro-active character plus a wealth of industry knowledge will ensure Dovile will have a successful and long-standing career with AIA,” said Mark Andrew, chief executive, AIA.

‘’I am thrilled to join Airbridge International Agencies and excited for the new chapter of my career. I am looking forward to taking on a new challenge and to work with the AIA team to achieve great goals,” said Morris.

Based in the company’s Frankfurt office, Hill has a broad working background in cargo GSSA, charter broking and airline sales.

She has held several managerial positions in her career, said AIA.

“I am excited to have joined AIA Cargo and be part of the ongoing growing AIA family. I look forward to developing the business with my experience and the support of all AIA stations and my team here in Frankfurt,” said Hill.

“AIA is very proud to appoint Karolina after a very extensive search to find the best candidate for the position in our new set-up in Germany,” said Andrew. “Karolina has a fantastic reputation for professional service, going above and beyond for customers to maintain high levels of customer service something we at AIA always strive to do.

“We are sure our current clients and our new clients coming to our Germany operation will see the value in Karolina’s work ethic for their products as we seek to develop and increase our footprint in the German market this year.”
