Air Menzies International appoints two new US branch managers

Michelle Bellefeuille and Jean Sebastien Preteseille, Air Menzies International

Airfreight wholesaler Air Menzies International (AMI) has appointed Jean Sebastien Preteseille as branch manager for Chicago and Michelle Bellefeuille to the role of branch manager for Los Angeles.

Sebastian joins AMI with more than four decades’ experience in the forwarding sector, having worked in Europe and the US.

His most recent role was with DB Schenker, where from September 2018, he held the position of gateway air export manager, responsible for air export operation of the Chicago gateway.

Previous to DB Schenker he spent over 18 years at Panalpina across various roles in both the US and Europe.

Bellefeuille moves over to AMI from DHL Global Forwarding, where her career spanned over 13 years with roles in both operations and sales.

Her most recent position with DHL was as regional export gateway manager based at Los Angeles International, where her responsibilities included the planning of all cargo for the entire west region, which amounted to more than 1,000 consolidations and 1-2m tons of cargo on a monthly basis.

Tibor Fodelmesi, AMI vice president for the Americas, said: “Both Los Angeles and Chicago Branch Managers are key positions within our North American and global network. To be able to attract two candidates with a wide range of knowledge and experience is a real coup for AMI and I am delighted they have joined the AMI team.”
