Charter broker Air Partner has appointed Patti Cole as head of time-critical services for North America as it looks to expand in the segment.

Cole will head up Air Partner’s time-critical market presence in the US by “implementing compliance procedures to ensure smooth operations, introducing a platform for enhanced shipment visibility and processing, and recruiting the right talent to drive excellence”, the company said.

She joins from DHL Global Forwarding where she worked for over 16 years, most recently as the global head of the DHL Same Day and Temperature Management Solutions team.

Before DHL, Cole spent 15 years at shipping company NYK Line as a global sales representative and motor carrier logistics manager.

Air Partner said the appointment was part of efforts to bolster its time-critical offering and follows the appointment of  Oliver Giesen as head of global On-board Courier in April.

Pierre Van Der Stichele, vice president of cargo – global, said: “Patti has an exceptional level of expertise and a stellar reputation spanning 35 years within the transportation and logistics industry.

“We are delighted to leverage her knowledge and skills to lead our North America time-critical division, ensuring a successful, client-focused, full-service offering.”
