Chapman Freeborn names its first group humanitarian cargo director

Chapman Freeborn has promoted Daniel Carriett into the newly created role of group humanitarian cargo director.

In his new role, Carriett reports directly to Neil Dursley, chief commercial officer.

Dursley commented: “I am delighted to announce the promotion of Carriett to group humanitarian cargo director.

“We have expanded our client portfolio during this time due to the extraordinary efforts of Carriett and his team. This promotion enables us to strengthen this part of the business and provide further support to this very special industry segment that has been a piece of Chapman Freeborn’s DNA for decades, and will continue to be, for decades to come.

“I wish Carriett every success in this newly created role and look forward to him expanding his team and our capabilities in the near future”.

Carriett added: “I am honoured to be leading the company’s focus on this key offering going forwards. Chapman Freeborn is one of the leading providers of emergency airlift to the humanitarian and NGO community, and I greatly look forward to working with our highly professional teams to focus on and maintain our competency and market leading position in this area”.

Chapman Freeborn has supported various non-government organisations (NGO’s) in humanitarian crises for four decades.

During the last six months, the charter broker has transported PPE and urgent medical supplies to support the global fight against Covid-19.
