Jan de Rijk appoints new COO

Road feeder service provider Jan de Rijk Logistics has appointed Daniël Uijtdewillegen as chief operating officer (COO).
In his new role, Uijtdewillegen is responsible for overseeing operations of the firm’s transport business units, including International Transport, Benelux Transport and Intermodal Transport.
He will also join the Jan de Rijk Logistics leadership team alongside the chief executive and chief financial officer.
Jan de Rijk chief executive Fred Westdijk said: “Daniel is a seasoned professional who has been with our organization since 2006, where the fulfilled several operational positions, including planning, operations manager, and operations director.
“His experience, coupled with his exceptional drive, makes him the ideal candidate for this position. We are confident that, under his leadership, our operations will continue to run smoothly, and our customers will receive the highest level of service.”
