Silk Way West Airlines has appointed Jenny Zhao as its new vice president, Asia Pacific. Zhao will take over from Nurid Aliyev, who has stepped down for personal reasons.

Zhao has more than 15 years of experience in the air cargo industry, having previously held senior management positions at various cargo airlines. For the past two years, she served as CCO, Asia Pacific region, at Silk Way West Airlines (APAC), and head of the company’s rep office in Shanghai.

Wolfgang Meier, president and CEO of Silk Way West Airlines, commented: “Zhao will be able to give a new impulse to the activities of Silk Way West Airlines in Asia-Pacific region, which operates in a highly competitive environment. I wish her success on her new assignment”
