K+N stalwart Scharwath looks for new challenge

Tim Scharwath, the member of the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International (K+N) responsible for global airfreight, is to leave the company within the next 12 months in order to “take on a new challenge”, a statement from the global supply chain giant has confirmed.
During his 24 years with the company, Tim Scharwath has held several management positions. He has been responsible for airfreight on the Management Board since 2011, and under his leadership K+N has become the world’s number two in air cargo operations.
