Kempis to take over as director flight operations at Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that Chris Kempis, currently general manager flying at the Hong Kong-based carrier, will become its director flight operations in mid-2018 (subject to regulatory approval).
In this role, he will oversee all aspects of the airline’s flight operations.
Chris will take up the position after 25 years of service at Cathay Pacific; his current role of general manager flying sees him responsible for managing the airline’s flying standards, including check and training activities.
Cathay Pacific’s current director flight operations,  Anna Thompson, is take up the position of director human resources at Swire Properties Limited. Cathay Pacific is a member of the Swire group.
