Leschaco announces new head of global airfreight

Leschaco has named Oliver Kaut as its new head of global airfreight and global automotive.

Kaut took up his new role at the company on October 1. He replaces former head of global airfreight Antonio Oliveira, who henceforth will focus on his role as managing director of Leschaco Aircargo.

Kaut has 35 years of forwarding experience at organisations including UPS Supply Chain Solutions (formerly known as Menlo Worldwide, Emery Worldwide, Emery Airfreight), Eagle Global Logistics and DHL Global Forwarding.

“We are very happy that with Kaut, we have gained a very experienced and aviation and automotive enthusiastic employee for our group of companies and we wish him every success,” said Jörg Conrad, owner and chief executive of the Leschaco Group.
