Air Cargo News is saddened to report the passing of Mac Warner, who formed GSA Pace International and later joined the ECS Group.

The ECS Group described Warner as “a foundational figure in the airfreight industry”.

He founded Pace International in 1984 and joined the ECS Group in 2002 as part of the acquisition of Pace.

“His leadership was crucial in establishing a significant ECS Group presence in Germany, and he was among the first to create an international network of general sales agents across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Ukraine,” ECS said.

“Once part of ECS Group, Mac was pivotal in introducing one of the first global products to the group through his collaboration with Ukraine International. Mac’s initiative, and dedication, have left an indelible mark on ECS Group and the industry at large.”
