Portal cargo.one adds new VP as it targets growth in the Americas

Chad Tibor

Cargo.one has appointed Chad Tibor as its vice president and general manager for the Americas.

The air cargo booking portal said Tibor, who joins from travel technology company Sabre, would shape its airline growth strategy with a focus on the American continents.

“My mission as the leader of the Americas airline team is to reach every airline domiciled in this part of the world and share with them the unique value that cargo.one delivers in a matter of a few month,” he said.

“Airlines face immense challenges as the entire travel ecosystem continues to suffer through this ongoing global pandemic. Passenger revenues continue to be historically low, so airlines need to capitalise on other sources of income and cargo is at the top of that list.”
