Röhlig Logistics creates new head of verticals position

Röhlig Logistics has appointed Marisol Henschen to the newly created position of global head of industry verticals.

Henschen, who took up the position on September 1, holds an MBA and has worked in several countries including Germany, Switzerland, Singapore and Spain.

She started her career with Lufthansa and has held several management positions at DB Schenker and IATA.

Prior to joining Röhlig Logistics, she served as general manager for Latin America at Forward Air Corporation.

Henschen reports to Andreas Polychronakos, global sales & airfreight director at Röhlig Logistics.

Polychronakos said: “We are delighted to welcome Marisol Henschen to the newly created key position of global head of industry verticals.

“Her in-depth knowledge in business development, strategy, finance, product and general management will be a vital asset for us to kick-start our focus on various industry verticals.”

Henschen added: “My focus will be on integrating and boosting our global know-how to accelerate healthy growth. I am also excited to meet and manage strategic customers.”
