Saudi Airlines Cargo is sponsoring Saudi rally driver Mashael Al-Obaidan as she continues her rally racing career.

Al-Obaidan is the first Saudi and Gulf woman to obtain a rally license and race in Dakar and recently participated in the third round of the World Cup for Cross-Country Rally “Baja”, which took place in Italy from July 8 to 10.

It comes as a continuation of the previous stage during the last Dakar Rally in Saudia Arabia.

“On-time delivery of vehicle components and driver supplies in difficult terrains and changing weather conditions requires seamless logistics during an endurance rally, from starting grid to finishing line,” the company said.

“Saudia Cargo recognizes and understands those supply chain challenges as part of its core competence in handling time-sensitive pharmaceuticals, perishable goods and e-commerce for its customer network across the globe.

“Mashael Al-Obaidan and Saudia Cargo are working in partnership because they share the same ambition of taking on difficult challenges to achieve success, whether on the ground or in the air.”
