Handler Swissport International has appointed Iván Nash Vila as its chief financial officer and member of the executive leadership team.

He succeeds Alexander Gradow, head of financial planning and analysis, who had been acting as interim chief financial officer (CFO) since August. Nash Vila will report to Warwick Brady, president chief executive of Swissport International.

With the appointment of Nash Vila, as well as the recent nomination of Christopher Rayner as the company’s chief human resources officer, Swissport has now completed the renewal of its executive leadership team following its new shareholder structure.

Warwick Brady, president and chief executive of Swissport International, said: “Iván has a proven track record in key finance roles, including over 10 years as a chief financial officer and experience from M&A to operational finance. He draws on years of international management experience and, with his background, is ideally equipped for this role and the future development of Swissport.”

Nash Vila previously served as chief financial officer of Endemol Shine Group in Amsterdam, the Netherlands until its sale to an industry player.

“Together with our regional business leaders, we now have a capable and effective senior management team in place to successfully tackle the tasks ahead,” added Brady. “Our customers will be front and center in our efforts to form the undisputed global market leader and go-to brand for global aviation ground services.”
