Swissport promotes Knudsen

Swissport International has promoted Nils Pries Knudsen to executive vice president global cargo services, with immediate effect.
He will continue to report to Per Utnegaard, group president and chief executive at the provider of ground and cargo handling services.
With 4.1m tonnes of airfreight handled per year, the cargo division is the second largest service within the Swissport group.
Knudsen, most recently senior vice president and head of global cargo services, joined Swissport International in January 2009 and “has since been instrumental in taking the cargo division forward to become a global leader,” said Swissport.
With his promotion, Knudsen becomes a member of the group executive management.

“Nils Pries Knudsen has great air cargo industry experience to bring Swissport’s cargo business continuously forward and to drive our overall growth strategy," commented Utnegaard.
