US AirCargo conference to go-ahead as an in-person event

Brandon Fried, AfA

The US Airforwarders Association’s AirCargo Conference will proceed as an in-person event for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

The event will take place in New Orleans from January 17 – 19 and the keynote address will be made by Tim Strauss, chief executive of Amerijet International Airlines.

Additional sessions during the three-day event will promote discussions with enterprise leaders on critical topics including labour shortages, airport congestion, and emerging security threats.

“We couldn’t be more excited to once again provide our community with the invaluable networking opportunities that the AirCargo Conference makes possible,” said Brandon Fried, executive director of the Airforwarders Association.

“Building these connections and developing collaborative solutions has never been more important than today, as the current supply chain crisis affects stakeholders at every step. I am looking forward to substantial and constructive conversations both on and off stage that will no doubt contribute to our progress as an industry.”
