Ebola aid from East Midlands

Three forklift trucks supplied by Jungheinrich have been flown from East Midlands Airport to Sierra Leone as part of the UK Government’s response to the Ebola virus crisis.
The Department for International Development (DfID) acquired the trucks – one 7-tonne and two smaller 4-tonners. DFiD’s procurement office praised the speed of the forklift manufacturer’s response.
