Forward Air adds tracking service

US logistics firm Forward Air has added a new mobile delivery tracking service.
Forward Air has begun offering customers the ability to use the nuDeliverIt tracking tool, which provides real-time visibility of deliveries in transit and electronic proof of delivery.
"Customers desire not just visibility into their deliveries but the ability to know where their service provider is at any point on the pick up or delivery route. This requires real-time data capture," said Glenn Adelaar, chief information officer, Forward Air.
"We are excited to automate the entire pick-up and delivery process and gain the advantages the nuDeliverIt solution will deliver for our business."
The tool can be used with either an electronic data interchange or web-based system, while it will also integrate with Forward Air’s existing systems.
