Air Cargo India event delayed

The Air Cargo India exhibition and conference has been moved back until later this year.

The event had been due to take place in Mumbai over three days, starting on February 22, but has now been moved back to start on May 31.

The event organisers, Messe Munchen India, said the decision had been made as a result of the “rampant increase” in the number of cases of the new omicron variant of Covid-19.

“Keeping in mind the health and safety of all our stakeholders and participants we have postponed air cargo India 2022.”

Bhupinder Singh, chief executive of Messe Muenchen India, said: “We would like to thank all partners for their continued support & cooperation in making this difficult and time sensitive decision.

“We are pleased that together we could have a general consensus and arrive at the new dates without affecting the plans of all involved and intended outcomes.”
