DHL Express opens new Hanover Airport facility

DHL Express has opened a new €32.5m site at Hanover Airport that consolidates two separate centres into a single facility.
The 30,000 sq m unit offers a fully automated sort that is able to process 6,000 parcels per hour and is double the size of the previously available sites.
The new building of DHL Express in Hanover is part of an extensive infrastructure development programme in Germany.
In addition to this site, multiple production sites in Germany such as Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Freiburg and Mannheim have already been fundamentally modernised and expanded.
