JAL’s cool delivery to Paris

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Post are to extend their Cool EMS Service to France from April.
The two partners hope to tap into the country’s restaurant trade, as well as serve the many Japanese restaurants that have opened in Paris.
Following its launch in Europe’s premier foodie market, the plan is to extend the service to other destinations.
Launched in April 2013, Cool EMS now serves Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, while the number of post offices offering the service in Japan has increased from 25 to 78.
Chilled or frozen service is available and the system ensures that goods are kept at the correct temperature up to final delivery.
