Hong Kong Air Cargo signs MoU with ZTO Express

Hong Kong Air Cargo (HKAC) has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chinese logistics company ZTO Express Group to strengthen their partnership in the air cargo sector.

ZTO is a major express delivery company in China and one of the largest express delivery companies globally. The MoU will see HKAC provide services such as cargo aircraft management and cargo aircraft charter services to ZTO Express, enabling the company to further grow in the e-commerce market.

This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both parties in the air cargo industry, enhancing logistics efficiency and meeting growing market demand, said HKAC. Additionally, it will further expand HKAC’s intercontinental routes.

HKAC president cum chief operations officer Clifford Hung said: “We are delighted to establish this strategic collaboration with ZTO Express Group. It not only marks a new beginning for our cooperation but also underscores our joint commitment to improving the quality of air cargo services.”

ZTO Express Group vice president Renqun Jin added: “This collaboration will enhance our competitiveness in the international logistics field. We look forward to working closely with Hong Kong Air Cargo to create a better future.”

Key representatives from both companies attended the signing ceremony.

Attending from HKAC’s senior management team was Hung; vice president Tina Tian; vice president of commercial Raymond Chen; finance director Jason Huang; and commercial director Leo Liu.

ZTO Express Group was represented by vice president Renqun Jin; executive deputy leader of aviation preparatory team and commercial director Xin YI; deputy leader of aviation preparatory team Jianjin Li; and senior member of aviation preparatory team Binbin Shein.
