FedEx pilots agree deal

Pilots at express carrier FedEx have agreed a new six-year contract. The deal, which includes new bonuses, annual increases in hourly pay and health-care benefits, was ratified by 57% of those voting, according to the Air Line Pilots Association, which represents about 4,000 FedEx employees. The new contract starts on 2 November and runs to October 2021.
