PostNL provides Netherlands link for AliExpress

The Chinese AliExpress arm of online retailer Alibaba Group has selected PostNL as the delivery partner for most of its packages to the Netherlands. Sellers will get direct access to the PostNL distribution network.
AliExpress allows consumers around the world to buy directly from Chinese manufacturers and distributors and it has over 100 million customers already use AliExpress to buy a large variety of products at competitive prices, with the Netherlands emerging as one of the key destinations over the past few months.
PostNL’s Asian-based Spring Global Delivery Solutions will offer AliExpress direct access to the Netherlands distribution network of PostNL, with end-to-end delivery times of 9 to 15 days.
Managing director PostNL Cross Border Solutions, Tijs Reumerman, commented: “In the last year we have grown rapidly in Asia. Increasingly, consumers in the Netherlands and beyond are buying from Chinese online shops.”
