Purolator goes coast to coast in the US

Purolator International – Canada’s largest integrated freight, parcel and logistics solutions provider – has launched an expedited forwarding service for domestic US shipments for next day, two-day, or 3-5 day delivery. There is also an Elite service for shipments that require a specialised delivery window.
The courier says it will offer complete coverage of the country, using a connected distribution network made up of hubs, airports, and qualified transportation partners.
Purolator International president, John Costanzo explained: “While we’ve always been a freight forwarder, the bulk of our business has been driven by northbound transportation into the Canadian market. In 2017, I’m committed to expanding our domestic expedited forwarding service to truly become a single source provider for retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors across the US.”
Purolator says it PuroTouch option will give customers a dedicated contact to evaluate their business requirements to build solutions tailored to their specific needs, and take a hands-on from the first call to final delivery.
