AFKLMP Cargo and Bolloré transport pharma from Italy to US

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) has partnered with Bolloré Logistics to complete a transatlantic pharma delivery.

The carrier operated an Air France Boeing 777 flight carrying 170 RAP containers, which contained insulin, from Florence in Italy to Chicago in the US.

AFKLMP Cargo said the flight was carried out “at the request of one of the leading US pharmaceutical company”.

Last month, the Schiphol cargo community created a task force to prepare for a Covid-19 vaccine led by Air Cargo Netherlands (ACN), Schiphol Cargo and Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, as well as shippers, pharma firms, forwarders, airlines, ground handlers and trucking companies.
