ASC and Socrates partner on supply chain security and compliance

ASC Pharmaceutical Logistics and risk consultant Socrates have announced a new partnership that will see the two companies offer each other’s services to clients.
The partnership will see Socrates offering ASC’s regulation compliance services while ASC will offer its clients Socrates’ security from theft, counterfeit and adulteration services.
“There is a natural cross-over for our clients,” ASC said. “For example, the European Union Good Distribution Practice Guidelines for Medicinal products for human use has driven all stakeholders in the distribution chain to ensure their service offerings are compliant, and when auditing a supply chain, the security of their products and compliance with the EU Directive of Falsified Medicines is equally important."
ASC said the partnership would allow the companies to expand their supply chain service portfolio for clients.
It will also benefit the companies geographically as Socrates has a strong presence in Central and South American markets while ASC has historically focused on Europe, Asia and North America.
