Polar Thermal adds new packaging system

Polar Thermal has launched a new lightweight, single use, modular system, the ‘PolarPod’, for deep frozen, chilled or ambient shipments.

With a liner  of insulated foil wrapped Polartherm fibre and appropriate coolants/gel packs/phase change packs, the system will deliver the following  results over either 30, 48 or 72 hours: Deep Frozen -18 to -14⁰C, Chilled  +2 to +8⁰C, Ambient: +15 to +25°C. 

Three internal capacities are offered 1/2mᶾ, 1mᶾ and 1.5mᶾ allowing for flexible loads without waste.
