TP3 Global launches SilverQuilt thermal cover

Thermal cover supplier TP3 Global has launched SilverQuilt, its next-generation solution for the protection of temperature-sensitive cargo.
Peter Lockett, director at TP3 Global, observed: “Breaks in the cold chain are a serious issue for the pharmaceutical supply chain, with valuable stock often sitting on the tarmac for hours at a time.”
SilverQuilt, whose reflective outer skin protects shipments against the heat of the sun while on the tarmac, is suitable for products such as pharmaceuticals that need to be kept within the controlled room temperature (15-25◦C) range or the cooler 2-8◦C range.
Equally, the multi-layered cover insulates shipments from cold ambient temperatures.
