We’re Europe’s kings of cool, says Lufthansa

Lufthansa Cargo says it is offering a unique airline to offer a road feeder service for cold-chain cargo. Temperature-sensitive goods can be actively or passively cooled or warmed on road link connections with Lufthansa flight numbers using suitably-equipped vehicles, as well as on board the aircraft.
Customers can make firm onward travel reservations within Europe on the new Road Feeder Service Cool for sensitive medication flown into Frankfurt, where it is extending its Cool Center. From late summer, 8,000sq ms will be available for cool chain cargo. It is already the largest hub for temperature-sensitive freight in Europe.
Lufthansa Cargo and the Cool Center gained CEIV certification for pharmaceutical transport.
