Air Charter Service (ACS) has restructured its operations across Asia Pacific, adding a Greater China region.

The new region will consist of the charter firm’s Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices and will allow the company to “better focus on each unique market in the area”.

James Royds-Jones will be the regional director for the new Greater China region while Wanny Wu has been appointed as deputy regional director.

Royds-Jones has worked for the company for 15 years, starting off at the London office before moving to Hong Kong in 2013.

Wu has been working for ACS for 10 years and joined as the company opened its Beijing office.

ACS chairman Chris Leach said: “As a region, China is hugely diverse, with many differences from western markets and the rest of Asia Pacific economically, culturally and politically.

“As a result, we have decided to build a joint regional management team with the combined skillsets to help grow our business in China over the next decade.”
