Liege Airport-based Coastair Group has launched new UK entity Coastair Chartering Ltd in line with its long-term growth strategy.

Coastair Chartering will be based at Farnborough Airport and Alan Baldwin will be branch manager of the UK office.

Baldwin is a former Volga-Dnepr Group employee where he held the position of new business development manager.

He also worked for CargoLogicManagement as manager, new business development.

Baldwin will be responsible for developing the group’s four key business verticals in the UK which cover air charters, cargo handling, GSA development and butler services.

The new office is located at The Hub, Farnborough Business Park, Hampshire and is based in the former airport terminal and control tower.

Pascale de Mieter, group chief executive, commented: “By the opening of our own UK office we can give time to our UK customers so they can focus on their core business whilst helping them with their logistic challenges.

“With our core operating base at Liege Airport, we offer custom-made operational & booking platforms to provide dedicated, tailor-made services with creative logistical solutions thus ensuring we deliver a first-class customer experience.”
