AEI to provide Germany’s Royal Aero with a converted B737-400 freighter

Passenger to freighter conversion specialist Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) is to provide Germany-based aviation trading company Royal Aero with a B737-400SF.
The aircraft will commence modification next week at Commercial Jet’s Alabama facility, and the converted freighter will be redelivered to Royal Aero in May 2019. This will be Royal Aero’s first AEI B737-400SF freighter conversion.

Privately-owned Royal Aero is one of the largest independent European based suppliers of surplus commercial engine parts and technical consultancy services to the aviation industry, as well as an engine lessor and a lessor of aircraft approaching commercial retirement.
