GA Telesis has placed an order for an additional six B737-800SF freighter conversions with Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI).

The first aircraft of this new order will commence modification in March 2022, and all modification and maintenance requirements will be performed by the authorized AEI Conversion Center, Commercial Jet.

The remaining aircraft are scheduled to be converted at three other authorised AEI Conversion Centers, with the last aircraft of this order to commence modification in May 2023.

Upon completion of this order, GA Telesis will own a fleet of twelve AEI B737-800SF freighters – it ordered an additional four of the aircraft earlier this year on top of two ordered in 2020.

The AEI converted B737-800SF freighter offers a main deck payload of up to 23,904 kg and incorporates eleven full height 88” x 125” container positions, plus an additional position for an AEP/AEH.
