WFS wins ground handling contract with Airest

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a contract with Estonia-based carrier Airest to handle cargo from its Saab 340 freighter flights in Spain.

WFS will process airfreight on flights to and from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport in Germany, which operate five times per week.

Josep Fargas, managing director, ground handling division at WFS Spain, said: “In these challenging times, [this] new contract is very welcome news for our ground and cargo handling teams in Spain and reflect our reputation for providing the most resilient levels of safety, security and customer service.”

WFS also won contracts with Air France and Wizz to provide ground handling services for passenger flights in Spain.
