WFS wins handing contract with Turkish in Denver

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a three-year contract from Turkish Airlines for ramp handling services at Denver International Airport in Colorado, US.
Under the contract, WFS will provide services including include ramp, aircraft pushback, baggage handling, cargo loading/unloading, airside cargo transportation to and from the aircraft, and cabin cleaning.
The contract aligns with the launch of Turkish Airlines’ 14th destination in the US. Türkiye’s flag carrier began operations to Denver in June with three weekly flights, increasing to four weekly flights in July, using Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft between Istanbul and Denver.

WFS already provides ground handling services for Turkish Airlines in Chicago and now provides ground handling for 21 airlines in Denver, managing over 9,000 aircraft turns annually.
Denver is one of 81 stations operated by WFS Americas in key cities in the US and Canada.
Earlier this year, WFS was awarded a five-year contract by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to operate a Centralized Examination Station at New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport, plus Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) selected WFS to provide cargo handling services at Boston Logan International Airport.
