Aeroprime takes on Thai Airways in India

Aeroprime Group has been appointed exclusive cargo general sales and service agent (GSSA) in Delhi, India for Thai Airways, from September 1.

Thailand’s national carrier operates a fleet of 77 aircraft, including Airbus A320, A350, A330 and Boeing 787, 777 to destinations in Asia-Pacific and Europe. This includes three daily flights (four on Saturdays) between Delhi and Bangkok.

Aeroprime will manage and oversee Thai Airways’ cargo sales, marketing, and operations and aims to bolster exports from India, including dangerous goods, perishables and temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals.

Aeroprime Group executive director Abhishek Goyal said: “We are honoured to be appointed as the exclusive Cargo GSSA for one of the largest and most prestigious airlines in South-East Asia, Thai Airways. New Delhi-headquartered Aeroprime is present in four countries and over 20 cities with a service portfolio including cargo management, airline management, handling, distribution, government liaison and marketing.

In June, Aeroprime was appointed GSSA for Cambodia Angkor Air, serving over 11 destinations across Cambodia, China, Laos, Singapore and Vietnam.
