AirCargoGroup celebrates 10th Anniversary

TEN years ago this month a group of like-minded airfreight wholesalers got together and formed the AirCargoGroup (ACG) at a time when such activities were not so common.
From those humble beginnings, ACG has grown into a powerful network of international wholesalers and consolidators, which has made great strides, the organisation states.
This includes dramatically increasing business for its members; achieving volume incentive agreements (VIA) with carriers and thereby improving their service levels; as well as obtaining global contracts with leading forwarders.
To-date, ACG has global coverage at more than 200 airports and 55 countries; boasts annual airline freight sales of more than US$150m; has annual uplift of more than 100 million kilogrammes and direct contracts with more than 170 carriers.
The organisation is holding its 10th annual general meeting and conference from 28-31 March at the JW Marriot Copacabana Hotel, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
