GSSA network selects e-Cargoware as preferred systems provider

Recently-launched GSSA network 1GSA has selected e-Cargoware as its preferred supplier of IT systems, gaining preferential rates for members.
The network said e-Cargoware is already installed and operational at 1GSA founder member and UK representative, Select Airline Management.
M&C Aviation, which was one of the first GSSA companies to join the 1GSA network, covering seven countries in Asia, has also chosen e-Cargoware and is midway through implementation across its branch network.
The cloud-based e-Cargoware system will enable all 1GSA members to interface with each other, and to act as a single unit managed from one location, in cases where airlines wish to appoint multiple 1GSA stations.
It provides a suite of functions, including auto quotations, reservations, flight planning and capacity control, AWB stock management, pre-alerts and manifesting to handlers, and auto post flights.
1GSA members will be able to provide a customised web-based quotes and a booking facility to forwarders.
1GSA president David Lee said: “Our research and personal experience have shown e-Cargoware to be the most advanced GSSA system on offer today.
"In my own company, Select, it is revolutionising how we work, and definitely strengthens our offering both to forwarders and airlines. It was therefore the obvious choice as the first of our Preferred Suppliers, adding further value to 1GSA membership."
