GSSA Sky Cargo Solutions has opened up for business in the UK ahead of further expansion.

The Austria-headquartered sales agent told Air Cargo News that it had decided to add a UK operation as it looks to establish a “robust footing to serve the market globally”.

It currently has several airline prospects in the UK, the company added.

“Our plans are to strengthen our network throughout the US and other main crucial business locations around the world,” the company said in a press release.

“The opening up in the UK is just one of our commitments to serving our partners and the freight forwarding community.”

A company spokesperson added that during the pandemic, Sky Cargo Solutions has sourced and managed specialist charter flights to provide PPE and Covid test kits in Europe and South America.

As well as an office at Vienna International Airport, the company is also present at Frankfurt Main and Zurich.

The company also offers charter broker and cold chain logistics services.
