Expanding carrier My Freighter has signed up with Unilode Aviation Solutions for ULD management, repair and tracking services.

Unilode will initially provide the Uzbekistan-based airline with 600 ULDs with expectations for additional units over the coming years.

The carrier operates scheduled and charter cargo flights between Asia and Europe and has plans to add five Boeing 747-400 freighters over the coming five years to complement its existing single 747F-200F, which was delivered in late 2022.

The carrier also operates passenger flights under the Centrum Air name and hopes to expand its total fleet to 20 over the same period.

Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, My Freighter general director, said: “We are excited to partner with Unilode for ULD management services that will cover our ULD supply, maintenance, repair, tracking and monitoring needs.

“This partnership will strengthen our air cargo capabilities and support our strategic growth plans. We are looking forward to significant growth together with Unilode during our initial five-year contract term.”

Ross Marino, Unilode chief executive, added: “Start-up carriers with ambitious growth plans are a welcome addition to our ULD management portfolio and we are glad to play an important role in enabling their expansion and success in the air cargo industry.”
